George Fox University | Boise Commencement

 

Graduates, your regalia (cap and gown) has arrived at the Boise Center and can be picked up anytime between 8:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday - Thursday and 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Friday. Please come by as soon as possible in case there are sizing exchanges needed.

 

Location: BSU Jordan Ballroom, located on the second level of Boise State University Student Union Building (SUB).

Arrival Time: Graduates should arrive by 9 a.m.

Parking: Parking for the commencement will be located across from the SUB in the Lincoln parking garage. The main entrance is located off Belmont Street. All spaces are reserved for guests and graduates besides those designated by a sign.

Pictures: Jolesch Photography will be taking cohort pictures and individual pictures as graduates receive their diplomas. Students should arrive at the Jordan Ballroom fully dressed in regalia at 9 a.m. in order to facilitate cohort pictures prior to the ceremony. Jolesch will send complimentary e-mails and proofs of commencement photos after completing their reader cards. Photos will also be available for viewing one week after graduation on the Jolesch website.

Guests: At this point there is no limit on guests. However, if a graduate has more than 15 guests planning to attend, please contact Chris Young youngc@georgefox.edu or Joy Reimann jreimann@georgefox.edu at the Boise Center office or call 208-375-3900.

To maintain the formality of this event and as a courtesy to the graduates and their families, guests who will be bringing younger children are asked to prepare appropriately. If children become agitated or disruptive they should be taken outside the ballroom.

Videos: The ceremony will not be videotaped. However, families and friends of the graduates are invited to take their own videos.

Announcements: Graduation announcements may be purchased directly through the Jostens website or by calling 1-800-854-7464. (Note: the Boise Center is not a part of this process). When ordering, you will need to sign in, then choose George Fox University, Meridian, Idaho as the school.

Regalia: Caps and gowns are ordered by the George Fox registrar’s office for all graduates. Regalia has arrived at the Boise Center.

Bookstore: Check out the George Fox Bookstore website for gift ideas and beautiful diploma frames. The bookstore will have a table with a large selection of merchandise including the frames to purchase at graduation as well.
